Pleasant Street Monthly Meal Service Program at Tender Mercies

Become a Part of our Family – Tender Mercies is fortunate to have the support of thousands of volunteers each year who help provide a home to the residents as they rebuild. Opportunities to help include providing meals and resident activities, landscaping, cleaning, and serving on a committee. Volunteers make it possible to provide security, dignity, and community to 199 men and women each year.

Volunteers can help the residents of Tender Mercies rebuild their health and independence by preparing a meal off-site and serving it to the residents in one or more of our buildings. Meals can be served on a regular schedule or one-time. Many residents enjoy their meals family style with other residents and volunteers, which creates a sense of community. Our volunteers look forward to the chance to get to know and connect with the residents which allows for a more rewarding and educational experience.
